Few Things Left Unsaid by Sudeep Nagarkar !!!

It has been a long time since I completed a book in 3.5 hours. I did it today. :-) I am done with another bestseller- "Few Things Left Unsaid" by Sudeep Nagarkar. I kept on seeing this book in the Bestseller charts of Flipkart, Infibeam and many other online sites, finally I got a chance to pick the book today. Sudeep Nagarkar is a debut novelist. He never had ambition to be a writer but he ended up writing this story after one of his friend pushed him to. He started forming sentences and he ended up in writing this successful love story. It has not been 1 year still and the book has gone for reprint for many a times. Sudeep is one of those writers who haven't promoted his book in the way other writers do it (by launching it in several cities back to back). After writing, he got busy in his job again. But, destiny had good news for him and his book became Bestseller. He is an electronic engineer and he started writing during his college days. :-)

Coming to the STORY, FTLU is about the story of two collegians- Aditya and Riya. They meet through common friends and then, they see love in each other's eyes. They take time to express themselves but as soon as they get intrigued into the relationship, they don't wait much. They keep on stepping into the next level of relationship in every few days. They even take 7 promises as couples take during their wedding. They keep falling deep into the heavenly thing called- Love. Finally, a break-up takes place due to some twists and turns. They get back together again. But, something happens again which changes the life of Aditya. Riya's life changes too. But, they get together again. But do they remain together till the end? Their story is unpredictable. To know what it is, get the book. :-)

Coming to the REVIEW, Sudeep has used a very safe game by using only short sentences in the first 40% of this book. The insecurity can be understood as he was writing for the first time. But later on, with time he improved and his best can be seen in the next 60% of the book. Some porn writers(I hope you understood about whom I am talking :-)) in our India should understand how to carry intimate stuffs from Sudeep. It never seemed to be vulgar, it only made the book more romantic. As everyone is writing love-breakup-love-breakup-and-finally-love, you don't abuse Sudeep when you see that the protagonist is breaking up with his girlfriend. He has broke them off at a very strange moment. I have liked Sudeep's writing in the second half of the book. He has showed his talent perfectly.

There are certain parts in the book which I would like to mention- When Adi starts talking to Riya, he picks up cheesy lines, but later on when he gets her, he directly starts showing fondness for her body. I liked this part as Sudeep hasn't dragged this thing a lot in the name of True Love. :-) The first kiss in the auto is sensuous and wonderful. The birthday celebration of Aditya is one epic part of this book. Adi's mother's shade in the story is shown in a perfect way. When Adi thinks of breaking up with this sweet girl-Riya, we, the readers support him rather than feeling bad for it. Amazing part of the story. :-) The confession part of the book where Riya speaks in her own voice is where you get to know the potential of Sudeep Nagarkar. :-)

Coming to the Drawbacks, the friends of Aditya are just used for sake of showing that there are friends too. As Aditya's mom got a good focus, even his dad should have got. He is mentioned only for once in the book. Sudeep's insecurity with the language is clearly visible initially which doesn't give you a good feel about the book. That's different k later he has used a proper language. Love is described too much in the book. Rather, Sudeep should have tried to keep it little more shorter. The Epilogue plays a very bad part in the book. There are some movies in which you love every bit of it but you end up abusing it because of a useless and dragged climax. Few Things Left Unsaid ends up being a book with a bad epilogue which could have been easily avoided. I was sure to rate this book 3.5 but just because of these last 4 pages of the book(Epilogue part), I have to cut .5. So, my rating is 3 out of 5 for FLTU. My recommendation is- Go, buy this book but don't read the Epilogue (Without Epilogue, rating is 3.5). And Yes, wait for few months as the Sequel is coming soon. :-)

       Thanks.

Love, life and all that jazz... by Ahmed Faiyaz !!!

So, I have completed "Love, Life and all that jazz.." by Ahmed Faiyaz. This is the second time when I took a week to complete a book. Damn to my college and this MCA CET which has come as an obstacle in between. But, I may say that it is wonderful to read good book by taking lot of days rather than completing it in 3-4 hours. At least you remain with those characters and a very good story for many days. :-) This is the debut novel of Ahmed Faiyaz. This is what Ahmed says about himself "I am a management consultant by profession and work for the Health Authority of the Government of Dubai in a Strategic Planning and Execution role. I have in my previous roles worked for Strategy Consulting firms in Dubai and India. I completed my graduation in 2006 from the SIBM. It is there that I first realised that my love for the written world was not limited to reading books. I began my stint with writing and became the editor of a fortnightly business journal for management students called ‘Forthright’. I am also a qualified CA(my biggest battle till date) and began my career with KPMG in Bangalore before I left my job to pursue an MBA degree."

Coming to the STORY (I am not writing it in my words as the synopsis of the book is itself true, so I am just pasting it here), Tania, an interior decorator in Bombay, is in love with Sameer but finds it difficult to manage her long distance relationship with Sameer ever since he moved to the UK to pursue an MBA degree. After five years of togetherness will their love last or will Tania walk into the willing arms of her business partner, Ankur? Sameer is torn between his ambition to spread his wings and begin his career in the UK and his difficult long distance relationship with Tania whom he is committed to. Does he choose love and family or his career? Or does a life-altering event change his decision? Vikram is fun loving, charming and affluent. While he is looking for meaning in life and what he wants to do, he supports and encourages his girlfriend Naina to achieve her dreams of becoming a successful model.

Can they survive the pressure that comes with her growing popularity and the demands of her glamorous career? Or does destiny have something else in store for Vikram? While Tanveer is hardworking and ambitious, he is also terribly insecure of himself and of what life has to offer. He deals with a demanding job and a difficult boss and the pressure of financially supporting his family solely rests on his shoulders. Amidst all the gloom, Tanaz, the daughter of his Parsi landlady is the one ray of sunshine. The two are in love but will Tanveer's conservative family accept a girl who does not belong to the same religion? Will Tanveer make his own decisions in life or will his insecurity and subservience to a traditional outlook alter his life in ways he never imagined? This is the journey of life in a new India where these friends support each other and evolve through their experiences and missteps in Love, Life and all that Jazz...

Coming to the REVIEW, Ahmed Faiyaz has used a very standard language to convey the story of these various couples. I liked his way of narration. I liked his way of revealing each character and their current problems and also going through their background. He has almost given justice to each and every character of the book. Book is lengthy but it is worth reading. You can't miss a single sentence. He has written the story of these friends from college who have passed out in 2003. And the story goes on till 2008. So, you can understand that the book consists of many aspects of one's journey from being a college pass-out to a matured person in the dominating society and expecting people all around you.

The story of the book revolves around all the characters and each of them has different story. You keep relating yourself to every character in some or the other way and you end up crying after every 20-30 pages periodically. Some moments in the book are really touchy and palpable and BEAUTIFUL. The moment when Sameer leaves for London is emotional. The scene where Tanveer tells his Islamic parents about his affair with a Parsi girl, Tanaz is so true and real. The depression of Tanveer after that is perfectly narrated. It touches you. Sameer's return to Mumbai because of a bad news shivers me. When Tanveer and Tanaz tells Tanaz's mother about a good news, her reaction to it again makes you cry. And then, the beautiful moments in this book never ends. They are uncountable. :-)

I will recommend all of you to get 2 copies of this book. Keep one with yourself and give the another copy to your loved one. This book is not about Love affairs. It is about many aspects one sees in life. I am in love with this book. Definitely, a 4.25 out of 5 to this book. Go and get it.

If It's Not Forever It's Not Love by Durjoy Datta & Nikita Singh !!!

Almost a month since I have posted a Book Review. I stopped it due to college works. But I read Durjoy Datta/Nikita Singh's "If It's Not Forever It's Not Love" today as I just wanted to read Durjoy Datta as soon as possible in any case. I know I don't like him sometimes because of excessive sex he uses in his books but still I buy and read him. :-) If you ask me how the book is doing, let me tell you that it is being ranked No.8 by Hindustan Times in today's edition itself. Durjoy Datta has already published 5 bestsellers. He has an average fan base of 1,50,000 readers which is quite huge if compared to other fiction writers (who have joined the league in last 5 years). Coming to Nikita Singh, she has two bestsellers in her name. She is quite young to publish book but still she has managed to write 3 books. :-) I should learn something from her and complete my first novel soon. :-) So, both the writers are quite fledged and settled in their field. They are no newcomers and hence, expectations are always high whenever you pick such authors. :-)

Coming to the story, Deb(Durjoy Datta's favorite character) escapes death in the Delhi High Court's bomb blast that took place in 2011. But he visits the same place after few days of the incident. He finds a burnt diary. First, he thinks that he should leave it there as personal diaries are not meant to be read by others but then he thinks, the owner is no more and he could have been at the place of the diary owner; and hence he should know him and his story. He takes the diary with him. He starts reading it and he finds the boy and his love story interesting and very lovely. Now, he wants to let his girlfriend know that her boyfriend is no more and tell all what he thought about her. Deb's girlfriend-Avantika, friend- Shrey and Shrey's girlfriend- Tiya joins him on his journey of revealing all the pages and meeting all the characters mentioned in the diary. What happens throughout the journey, how these 4 adventure freaks gets connected to the story of the diary is what this book is all about.

Coming to the Review, Durjoy Datta is trademarked for the excessive sex elements in his book. I once thrashed his book in a review for the excessive sex and no-story. But his last book- You were my crush took away 3.5 stars from me because it had only story and no sex. I thought that Durjoy has found a new way of progressing a story. Coming to Nikita Singh, I haven't read her 1st book. But I read her 2nd book and it had excessive sex just as DD's book has. I acted like a miser and gave just 2.5 stars. 1 week ago, I said this to her that I am expecting less sex from her in her books and more story, but she replied to me that she has no interest in dealing with my criticism for her until I improve my grammar. She said it in an arrogance. I was shocked. A writer is being asked by her reader(who is known for his book reviews) to eliminate the part which readers are complaining about and the writer retaliates to it aggressively rather than saying "I will improve". And let me tell you, Miss Nikita Singh, even your grammar sucks. You haven't written something incredible yet. Ok? Nikita Singh is already out of my expectations now. No more buying her books. Enough. A writer who can't respect the readers is not a Writer for me. So, coming to the point, DD and NS, both has showed their talent in writing Sex in this book once again. Excessive use of sex has again made this book just another book of DD and NS.

First, I would like to clap for Grapevine Publishers for printing this book in milky white pages with good font. Otherwise, now-a-days, publishers are using old-brown pages and the same boring fonts which kills half an interest of reading a book. Coming to the story and its narration, the initial pages where the trauma of Deb is described gives you a feel that something very fresh is coming in upcoming pages. The story of the diary begins in the same way as other love stories is being written now-a-days. The funny statements are used throughout the book which makes the book interesting. Some PJs are also included which wins. :-) Deb and Avantika's love story described in the book is what happens after both of them comes together. :-) And this is why, DD is our favorite writer. He always uses a different style to show the love saga of Deb and Avantika. The consequences of getting addicted to drugs/alcohols is perfectly drafted in the book. That's the best parts for me. I will remember the book for it. In particular, 202nd page made me jump off my bed. :-)

Now, drawbacks- I just want to ask Durjoy Datta that what does he wants to convey through Deb-Avantika's love saga in every book? That they had sex, sex, sex, sex, sex, sex and they died having sex one day? I am expecting something like YOU WERE MY CRUSH from you, buddy. Please try something different. Please. There is no use of publishing 6 books in 3 years. Take your time to write a book but write something new. Even the Sex scenarios between Shrey and Tiya fucked my brain. Then, Deb goes under a trauma because he sees how people dies and cries in front of him and thus he shows an attachment with the diary he finds at the spot. Later, at a place, he calls it a fucking diary. With something which changed your life, you will never call it fucking, even when you are too irritated at time. In the end, the book is just as the movie- Bodyguard was. Every exciting element is kept for the last 50 pages. Else, the first 180 pages is just another story. I rate the book 2.5 out of 5.

  Thanks.

In Course of True Love! ...I am left with nothing! by SANJEEV RANJAN !!!

So, I have finished 5th book on the 8th day of this new year- 2012. :-) I think I will complete my target of reading 50 books in 2012 in the first 6 months itself. :-) I am loving the speed. :-) So, this time I read "In Course of True Love" by Sanjeev Ranjan. The book has 209 pages. Its a typical Shrishti publication's book. Sanjeev Ranjan is just 21 years old. He is still in his last semester of Engineering. As per the love story which I have read in his debut novel, I think its his real love story with 10% of fiction in it. Sanjeev Ranjan is quite a cool guy and therefore he has written a very simple love story with 5% of complications in it. If it would have been someone like me or Durjoy Datta, it would have had only twists. :-) He has been into this Indian literature thing from a long time and hence he is fond of writing very much and he knows how to maintain it in future too. This boy of 21 years old have released his first book on 2nd January 2012 and I think I am the First Reviewer of this book as I have been for many Indian authors. :-)

Coming to the STORY of In Course Of True Love, its the story of the protagonist- Arush and his girlfriend- Aachankya. Arush scores 90% in his 10th std and his parents are unhappy with his result as they expected more. (Facepalm) He decides to shift to Bokaro for his Junior college studies as he may get nice education there. He moves there with his friends who scored above 85% but still less according to them. Again a Facepalm. :-) Finally, he gets admission in a college and he get acquainted into a coaching class too. On the very first day, a girl named Aachankya starts asking him his name, native and other things and giggles with her friends. He thinks that why are these girls talking to him. But, then, even he starts talking and one day he gets a proposal from Aachankya. He is surprised that a girl who is being liked by so many boys has proposed him. Finally, he accepts after a lot of confusion and then, a typical junior college love story begins. Get the book to know what happened in the end.

Coming to the REVIEW, Sanjeev Ranjan has written this book specifically for an age-class. The easy language used in the book shows that he has targeted college crowd as his readers and according to me, the college guys who have been reading love stories will like this book as it is a typical Indian love story. But a reader who has read a lot of varieties will find this book too simple. I found it quite simple. Sanjeev Ranjan has used some very good words and sentences in the book. He is new in this field of literature and hence I am excusing him for writing a simple love story this time, but, in his 2nd novel, I want him to write something exclusive. For a first time readers and for the teenage-love-story fans, this book is a perfect choice. The cover page of the book is too beautiful and I would recommend the author to keep the same cover page even when he gets a Bestseller tag.

The story of the book is very simple. It has a twist in the end but throughout the story you get to read the love sagas of these two teenagers. You will get to read the telephonic conversations between the two, excitement of the boy as everything is a new experience to him- holding the hand, kissing the girl, reading a love letter etc etc etc. All the college guys who are interested in love stories can go for this book. Even the school guys who have never read a love story as their parents would have found them vulgar can also pick this one as it is a very decent love story.

Coming to the drawback- Lack of twists, Lack of humour and Lack of description. Sanjeev Ranjan could have made this book more suspenseful than a normal love story. But, initially when I picked up this book, I didn't expected much as he is just 21 years old and I wanted to see what he has attempted. He needs to put little more effort into writing and I believe that he will be up with a very good story in his next book. I have found this book Average. All the first time readers and school/college crowds can go for it. You may get into the habit of reading after reading this one. :-)

            Thanks.

Three Times Loser by AKASH VERMA !!!

On the 7th day of New Year-2012, I finished my 4th book of the year- “Three Times Loser” by Akash Verma. :-) Reading this book has been an exciting journey for me. I completed it in 2 slots. First, 12.30 AM to 4 AM and then 11 AM to 4 AM. The book is of 264 pages and you love it right from beginning once the initial characters are introduced. This is the first book by Shrishti Publishers where I can see a book surpassing 250 pages. Lets talk about Akash Verma first and then go towards the quality of the book. Akash Verma is a management graduate and the co-founder of an Advertising Venture that he started a year before. In his sixteen year old professional career, he has worked across the leading companies in the FMCG and Media sector. His work has taken him across the country and he finds this experience very relevant while giving shape to his stories. Akash took up to writing fiction in 2007; and he attributes this sudden urge towards writing to his compelling passion in understanding human relationship and behavior. He has deep interest in music, history and travel. This is his second novel after his last work 'It happened that Night; which was a National Bestseller.

Coming to the story of THREE TIMES LOSER, A boy- Alok sends letter to three different person- Megha-a home-maker, Mandira-a top MNC executive in New Delhi and Shonali-a Corporate Slut in Mumbai. He asks all of them to meet him on the same day, on the same place and on the same time. Initially, the letter to Megha is discussed in the story and then Alok’s beautiful journey with Megha is narrated in a very beautiful manner. Then, letter of Mandira and Alok’s journey with her and in the end the same  with Shonali. Three different love stories based in 1988, 1989 and 1996 shows three different perspective of the same protagonist. The augmentation in age brings different shades to all the three love stories. But, protagonist loses his girl every time. But, the book keeps you intriguing because you want to know that why has he called all the three ladies of his life together at the same time and at the same place. To know this, go and get this book and read a very interesting story which is far different than all the other books published by Indian publishers these days on the name of Fiction.

Coming to the REVIEW, Akash Verma has used very nice words in the book which will help you learn lots of words which you can use in your writings and conversations daily. The language of the book is mature and you will love it. Akash Verma has written a book with a message which he opens in the last pages of the book which makes you fall in love with the author. The author has written the same- LOVE STORY but in a very different manner which makes it something better than a simple love story attempted by all the Indian writers these days. Akash Verma has taken a good risk but he succeeds in making you laugh out loud, weep as a baby and learn like a good student. :-)

The book makes you know many aspects of the journey of a boy from 1988 when he is in 12th std to 1996-97 when he turns a professional. How 3 different ladies comes in his life at 3 different times and act as a catalyst in his life. How he sees his love in his life. How he treats his friends in his life. How he manipulates his parents when needed. How he helps his colleagues when they are stuck. How he loses all the 3 ladies but never leave them behind. He does good to each of them without letting them know. They come to know about it once Alok has lived all his life according to his terms and conditions. The book- THREE TIMES LOSER has many moments of laughter, sorrowfulness and depression. But in the end, you will smile because you get to read a story which not only narrates a very beautiful journey of a boy but also teaches you something with an example which remains with you for a long time. After completing the book, you will keep it on the most favorite part of your shelf so that you can always see its beautiful cover page and remember the beautiful hours when you were lost in the story of Alok. :-)

Coming to the Drawback- Initially, the book is full of humour and you get a sense that after 264 pages, you will laugh for a long time because of several incidents which takes place in the story and funny statements used by Akash Verma. But, the humour ends once the story of Megha is off. The humour quotient of the book disappears. The suspense and a very beautiful story lies after that too but you still remember the first 82 pages as it had something which you remember as the beautiful part of the book. Second, the last story of Shonali could have been written with more enthusiasm. It becomes boring as lots of professionalism is seen. But, the story demanded it. :( Else, I didn’t find any drawback in the book.

I rate this book 4.5 out of 5. YES. This is the 2nd book which I am reviewing so high. THE BACHELORS THEOREM was the first. And THREE TIMES LOSER succeeds in being the second. Well done, Akash sir. :-) I am expecting a Bollywood movie based on this book. :-)

        Thanks.

For What You Are... by SNEHA GUPTA !!!

So, finally I have completed a long story of 278 pages in a day. The name of the book is "For What You Are" authored by Sneha Gupta. The sub-title of the book is "Friendship never fades, love is unconditional". Initially, I didn't got it but not, after completing the book, I can relate to the title and the message Sneha Gupta has tried to spread among us. Frankly speaking, when I picked up this book for reading, I wasn't sure about its quality but now, I can proudly say that, I have read this book. I am gradually getting interested in the books published by Pustak Mahal or Cedar Books. First, The Bachelors Theorem, then Truly, Madly, Deeply and now For What You Are- They are just standing firmly on my trust and judgment. :-) Let's talk about Sneha Gupta first.

Sneha Gupta works with State Bank Of India. She is a graduate from the B. R. A. Bihar University, Centre For Distance Education. Starting her career at the early age of eighteen, twenty-one years old Sneha hails from a very small town Lalganj, in the district Vaishali of the state Bihar. Sneha has a passion for writing and she writes in every genre including poems, short stories, irony, ghazals etc. Apart from writing, Sneha has a craze for fine arts and is very much interested in photography and the melody of music especially instrumental. Although very zindadil by nature, Sneha keeps a distance from everybody and is acquainted to herself only. She loves to spend her leisures alone with her pen and notebook. When Sneha Gupta started writing this book, she started it with all the negative quotient which took place in her life. But when one of her friend read it and called it a Tragic Story, she turned the whole story into a positive one and published it in a new way. And Yes, I am proud of her modus operandi. The way she has narrated the whole story is commendable. I have no words for her efforts.

Coming to the Story, it is about four great friends- Snigdha, Rishabh, Anjali and Shekhar. Snigdha's mom is engaged in impressing Atul's family so that her daughter gets married to him and she can take a sigh of relief. Snigdha is nervous about it. At last, the engagement gets confirmed. As the date of engagement comes closer, she falls in love with Avi who works in her office. Now, she is confused what to do. Being a daughter in a North Indian small-minded family, she can't revolt the marriage neither can she reveal her love for Avi. At last, she takes a firm decision. She goes into depression for a moment but comes out after some medications. Now, she lives her life according to her terms. She helps her friends to come out of the blocked situation in which they were trapped in their life. She helps them to get what they wanted in their life. She helps them to show the right path in their life. In the end, with a positive attitude, she gets the best she deserved. :-)

Coming to the REVIEW, Sneha Gupta has a very unique writing style which will touch your heart. You will love to read the sentences crafted in an articulate manner. The sense of humour of the writer will compel you to finish the book as soon as possible. Sneha Gupta has indeed worked a lot on the plot and the story as it is unique and effective. You will find the reality in her story. The North Indian's mindset and thoughts are perfectly described in the story in the form of several incidents. She has passed a powerful message without letting you feel that you are reading a story with a serious subject. This book cannot be said as a Love Story. It has many things in it with some incidents based on Developing Love between characters. :-)

First chapter of the book gives you an idea that you are about to complete a very good and powerful book. :-) Snigdha's mother is funny throughout. Rishi's story of how he turned orphan will make you cry like hell. Snigdha's marriage incidents are funny initially but as the story moves forward, you get serious with it. Her love and attraction towards Avinash after getting engaged is a shock. Snigdha's confusion of getting married to Atul or disclosing her love for Avinash to her parents makes you accelerate the speed of reading. :-) The bus incident where several oldies express their views about girls is the BEST PART of the book for me. But, the climax is shocking. It is very different than what you expect. Story is not predictable at all. As the story moves after 200th page, you can sense that you are about to get a surprise in every next page of the book. :-)

The only Drawback of the book is that- The story could have been shortened. At least, 1/3rd part of the story could have been deducted to make it more positive for a lazy reader to pick it from the bookstores. :-)

In the end, I would rate this book of SNEHA GUPTA- 4 out of 5. Yes. I am Recommending this to you. Go, get it. :-)

            Thanks.

Autumn In My Heart by Saptarshi Basu !!!

I have finally completed an another book- AUTUMN IN MY HEART by Saptarshi Basu. It is a very short story which gets completed in just 162 pages. :-) So, it gives a positive feeling to you when you start the book. This is the second attempt by Saptarshi Basu after his first book- Love, Logic and The God's Algorithm. I haven't read the first book still but I went for reading the second one. Let's talk about the author first- A Gold Medallist in Mechanical Engineering, Saptarshi Basu has worked with the top 3 IT MNCs in India. He had subsequently lived in London, Toronto, Dubai and San Francisco before moving back to his native place, Kolkata. A prolific blogger and an avid traveller, he has been into writing for long having published his poems and stories in different magazines of his earlier organizations.

Coming to the story, AUTUMN IN MY HEART is a story of Deb and Ayantika who falls in love after adding each other on Social Networking site- Orkut. Their love saga continues over late night SMS chatting. Ayantika's mother has almost arranged her marriage with Sujoy. How, Ayantika deals with both the parties- Parents and Deb is an interesting tale. Vinod, the boss of Saurabh is ready to make him the victim of his homo approach. :-) At last, Vinod is caught by Deb when he was about to penetrate Saurabh. :-) Deb also gets into flirt relationship with Sagarika even when he is committed to Ayantika. On the other end, Sujoy and Sagarika are ready to fall in love with each other. The story of this book revolves around all these characters and their confusing stories which is attached to each other.

Coming to the REVIEW, AUTUMN IN MY HEART is another fiction written by an Indian author in easy language. You can finish the book in a go because it ends in just 162 pages without any great vocabularies. Initially, the story moves with a sweet note as it talks about Ayantika's mother forcing her for getting married but as the book moves forward, you realize that there are many stories which are talked about. Some incidents in the book are commendable. The way Vinod's sexual approach towards Saurabh is described makes you understand the whole scenario quite nicely. You even get to know about why people like Vinod turns homo. :-) Ayantika's mother is characterized nicely. You fall in love with her desperation of getting her daughter married. Deb remains your favorite character till the end. The chapter where the learning of Guru is described makes you intrigued in the chapter and you want that specific part of the book to keep continuing till the end. :-) Saptarshi Basu has won my heart in all these sequences.

Coming to the drawback, as soon as you start getting deeper into a part of the book, the scene changes and you find yourself in the story of another character. This keeps pissing you throughout the book. No character is defined nicely as Deb's character. So, till the end, you only watch out for Deb's character taking other characters for granted. The story moves very fast as the author has been given limit of pages to write the story in. The story could have been written quite nicely with nice description of each character and incident. This book is a lit read. I will rate this book- 2.5 out of 5.

            Thanks.
